Talk:Submissions/Conference panel

Type of targeted conferences

I am wondering what are the conferences "1 day conference style events of roughly 100-200 people attending", rassembling 100-200 people for only 1 day sounds me strange, but you probably have some example in mind.

/me just finished organizing the Finance Meeting, currently in postvitam phase, and I intend to write some report about organization and difficulties I encountered to avoid at least these difficulties for other organizers (although perhaps it is already existing, I confess I didn’t search). ~ Seb35 [^_^] 01:31, 25 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Perhaps he's referring to GLAM-WIKI conferences (where museum people and Wikimedians meet up for one day and talk about partnership opportunities and experiences) or like a larger chapter meeting for Wikipedians. SarahStierch (talk) 16:33, 21 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Would be nice to know who is on the panel or would be on the panel

I think that that knowing who you will be or you are aiming at having on the panel would be a powerful thing to have on the submission, just so we are aware - the submission is vague in a few ways, and having information on the types of people involved in the discussion would be important (all Europeans, a mix of people from around the world? Wikimedians only or non-Wikimedians and former contractor event planners?). Thanks! SarahStierch (talk) 16:33, 21 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
