Staatsburgers van de volgende landen hebben geen visum nodig om de Verenigde Staten binnen te gaan:

Litouwen Luxemburg Malta Monaco Nederland (incl. Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao, Saba, Sint Eustatius en Sint Maarten) Nieuw Zeeland Noorwegen Oostenrijk Portugal (incl. Azoren and Madeira) San Marino Singapore Slowakije Slovenië Tsjechië Spanje Verenigd Koninkrijk (alleen 'full British citizens') Zuid Korea Zweden Zwitserland

Staatsburgers van deze landen hebben geen visa nodig om de Verenigde Staten binnen te gaan, maar zij moeten wel on line reistoestemming aanvragen via ESTA. Deze toestemming kost 14 dollar, wat alleen per creditcard betaald kan worden, en is twee jaar geldig. ESTA is niet vereist voor Canadese staatsburgers.

Visum noodzakelijk

Staatsburgers van andere landen hebben een B-1 of B-2 visum nodig, een tijdelijk visum voor zakelijke of toeristische doeleinden.

• Providing you a letter of invitation, upon registering for Wikimania.
• Inform the embassy or consulate directly about your attendance at Wikimania.

The State Department's E-Diplomacy office is working closely with us, as a partner, in organizing Wikimania. While visa decisions are ultimately in the hands of the consular officer, we will do our best to help with a letter and by notifying the embassy or consulate.
