Visa assistance

We will help you be prepared when going for your visa appointment by:

  • Providing you a letter of invitation, upon registering for Wikimania.
  • Inform the embassy or consulate directly about your attendance at Wikimania.

The State Department's E-Diplomacy office is working closely with us, as a partner, in organizing Wikimania. While visa decisions are ultimately in the hands of the consular officer, we will do our best to help with a letter and by notifying the embassy or consulate.

If you have questions or need assistance, please contact us at wikimania-registration@wikimedia.org.
