Locations, pick-up and drop-off points

Thanks Pharos, this is very helpful for planning. I know this is just a rough outline, but if/once confirmed, could you also add the daily pick-up/drop-off locations and their approximate times? Just to plan my logistics ahead... ;) Rehman (talk) 03:09, 19 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

We will add this once it's confirmed. "Pick up" in this case would just be we meant in front of the hostel and take the subway together, of course :)--Pharos (talk) 19:42, 29 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Ah that's cool :) My concern was basically to figure out how early should I leave HI-NY to reach the WTM "start point", since it basically starts at the hostel, that's great! But just out of curiosity, as I understand, HI-NY and Jazz are located close to each other (so meeting up to take the subway should be easy), but what about those staying at all the other places? (I think I know someone who stays at Chelsea as well) Rehman (talk) 10:22, 1 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Will we visit the Statue of Liberty?

It seems Statue of Liberty is not mentioned on the schedule. --Shujenchang (talk) 15:44, 26 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, we ended up discussing this and its relative expense and inconvenience on the mailing list.--Pharos (talk) 19:40, 29 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Expense aside, the interior of the Statue is closed for renovations right now (which sucks!) The ferry leaves every twenty minutes if you wanted to try it on your own. [| National Park Service information page on the Statue of Liberty.] --abesottedphoenix

Wikibus

Roughly when is the bus planning on arrive to DC? I'm pondering if I should join or not... Mike (talk) 14:55, 28 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

It will arrive about 2:20pm. However, the WikiBus is currently full, we'll let folks know if there are any more cancellations.--Pharos (talk) 19:37, 29 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
