Introduction

I am active on Wikipedia as a Wikipedia Teaching Fellow and on Wikinews as a faculty member and participating Wikinewsie. My primary interests are teaching through wiki technology and excellence in journalism. My "Adopt a Journalist" project on Wikipedia encourages students to research fallen journalists and write for an international audience. My online journalism students have used to Wikinews to learn the craft and reach out to an international audience.
