Abstract (please use no less than 300 words to describe your proposal)
Subject matter related to women's history is lacking in coverage in Wikipedia in all languages. This edit-a-thon will take place in one hour, and will feature a 10 minute lightning talk which will share brief anecdotes and stories about 10 women in 10 minutes. After the presentation, an edit-a-thon will begin for 50 minutes. Participants will be asked to research and contribute stub/start articles (or beyond!) related to the 10 women in the presentation in whatever language they choose. This will also be a rare chance for Wikipedians to get their editing on at Wikimania!
